Grain extruder EGK-30

The EGK-30 grain extruder is a modern solution for farms and agricultural enterprises specializing in livestock and poultry production. Operating principle and advantages of the extruder

The device converts grain into a foamed air mass in the form of small sticks using unique thermomechanical processing technology. The working process takes place in two chambers:

• Loading chamber — where preliminary crushing of raw materials occurs;
• Pressing chamber — where raw materials undergo thermal treatment at 160–180 °C under high pressure, then pass through calibrated die openings.

Upon exiting the extruder, the grain experiences a sudden pressure drop (hydraulic shock), foams, and increases in volume several times. This feed structure improves digestibility: animals become satiated faster with less feed, and energy is directed toward body mass gain and increased milk yields.
