Dry and liquid ingredient dosing unit UVD-2

The UVD-2 unit for introducing dry and liquid ingredients from TechnoMashStroy is designed for the metered supply of food additives in dry and liquid form while products pass through coating drums. The equipment ensures uniform coating and high-quality mixing and is most commonly used as part of the DPP coating complex.

The UVD-2 features a mobile frame, a hopper for dry ingredients, a liquid tank with a spray bar and an adjustable connecting tray. The unit can operate with one or two tunnel-type coating drums. The tray ensures smooth product transfer between the drums, while its adjustable inclination makes it possible to correctly align the equipment regardless of the angle set for each drum.

Liquid components, including oil or fat, are supplied through a stainless-steel spray bar with three evenly spaced nozzles. Each nozzle has a spray angle of 270°. The controller allows the supply parameters and programs to be adjusted for different product types. The liquid is drawn by a pump from a tank equipped for mixing, heating and maintaining the specified operating temperature.

Dry ingredients such as salt or flavour enhancers are introduced onto the connecting tray as the product transfers from one drum to the other. Dosing is adjusted by changing the rotation speed of the feed screw. Hopper components that come into contact with the ingredients are made of food-grade stainless steel.
