Industrial drum wood chipper ZUBR-30 (with infeed conveyor)

The ZUBR-30 drum-type chipper with a raw material feed conveyor from manufacturer TechnoMashStroy is designed for processing wood and waste from woodworking enterprises into technical or fuel chips. The equipment is suitable for crushing branches, offcuts, small-diameter logs, edgings, particleboard (DSP), fiberboard (DVP), plywood, edgings, and other wood-based materials.

The finished chips can be used for the production of pellets and briquettes, preparation of fuel for boilers with automatic loading, manufacture of particleboard, as well as for smoking meat and fish. The drum cutting unit with 12 knives ensures efficient processing of raw material, and a large loading opening makes it possible to work with material of a significant fraction.

For feeding wood to the chipper, a belt conveyor with a length of 3,000 mm is provided. It is equipped with a gear motor with a power of 0.55 kW and helps organize continuous loading without constant manual handling of raw material. At the customer’s request, the conveyor length can be changed in 1 m increments.

The ZUBR-30 is driven by an electric motor with a power of 30 kW and a rotation speed of 1,315 rpm. The installed power of the complex is 32.2 kW. The equipment’s output is up to 15 m³/h of finished chips; however, the actual result depends on the wood species, moisture content, type of raw material, and the organization of feeding.

The model has a receiving hopper and is designed for use in technological wood processing lines. It can be used as a standalone unit or combined with equipment for conveying, drying, sorting, and further pelleting of the finished fraction.
