The Crusher-700 electric chipper from manufacturer TechnoMashStroy is designed for crushing, disposing of, and processing wood waste into technical or fuel chips. The equipment is suitable for working with branches, slats, edgings, blocks, as well as furniture production waste — particleboard (DSP), fiberboard (DVP), and plywood. The resulting chips can be used for pellet production, briquetting, heating, or smoking food products.
The Crusher-700 has a disc design and a large loading hopper. The inlet window measuring 210 × 160 mm allows feeding wood of the appropriate fraction without complex preliminary preparation. The cutting disc with a diameter of 700 mm is equipped with knives made of 9ХС tool steel. At the outlet, technical chips are formed with a size ranging from 5 to 45 mm.
The electric version is equipped with a motor with a power of 22 kW. The electric motor speed is 3,000 rpm, and transmission via pulleys reduces the disc speed to 1,000 rpm. This scheme makes it possible to efficiently transmit power to the cutting unit. To protect the drive, the belt transmission allows slippage in case solid foreign objects enter.
Wood feeding is carried out by two rollers with hydraulic drive from a built-in pump. A roller speed regulator makes it possible to adapt operation to the diameter and properties of the raw material. Stop and reverse functions for the feed rollers are provided, as well as an oil filter and pressure gauge for monitoring the hydraulic system. The chip discharge direction can be changed by 360°, and the standard discharge height is 1,900 mm; upon order, a spout with a discharge height of 2,400 mm is available.
The Crusher-700 can operate as a separate unit or be part of a wood processing and pellet production line. For convenient electric motor start-up, an additional configuration with a TMS-22 kW soft starter device is available.
