The KPD-1000 wood crushing complex for sawdust from manufacturer TechnoMashStroy is designed for step-by-step processing of branches, offcuts, and other wood waste into a fine fraction suitable for further production of pellets or briquettes. The equipment can operate as a single technological line or as separate units for performing independent production tasks.
The complex includes a Crusher-700 disc chipper and two hammer crushers, integrated by a pneumatic conveying system. The chipper processes branches, edgings, blocks, and waste from furniture and sawmill production into technical or fuel chips. A large loading hopper allows working with wood raw materials of significant size, while two feed rollers with hydraulic drive ensure stable material gripping. Roller stop and reverse functions are provided.
Crushing takes place in three stages. First, the chipper produces chips, which are fed into the first hammer crusher with a 12 mm screen. After preliminary crushing, the material is pneumatically conveyed, without operator involvement, to the second crusher with a 6 mm screen, where it is converted into a fine wood fraction. The finished material can be used for further drying and pelleting.
The hammer crushers feature sequential electric motor start-up, allow adjustment of the degree of crushing, and enable adaptation of operation to the properties of the raw material. The design provides for quick replacement of screens and hammers, as well as the possibility of additionally installing a cyclone. The complex’s output depends on the type of wood, its physical properties, and the specified particle size.
