Branch shredder VTR-70

The VTR-70 branch crusher from manufacturer TechnoMashStroy is designed for processing tree branches into fragments that can be used for firewood preparation, further crushing, composting, or other disposal of wood waste. The knife-type branch chipper is suitable for use in garden, municipal, and farm operations.

The VTR-70 processes branches with a diameter of up to 70 mm. The cutting unit consists of six knives arranged in three pairs and forms a fraction approximately 100–150 mm in length. The “knife-groove” knife fixation system increases the reliability of their installation and makes equipment maintenance more convenient.

The crusher can be equipped with various power units depending on operating conditions. Available options include gasoline engines with a power of 6.5 or 13 hp, a single-phase electric motor with a power of 4 kW, a three-phase electric motor with a power of 5.5 kW, as well as a drive from the tractor’s power take-off (PTO) shaft. This selection makes it possible to choose a VTR-70 configuration for direct on-site work or stationary use.

A steel frame on wheels simplifies moving the crusher within the work area. If desired, the equipment can be supplemented with a double hopper for collecting the processed raw material. The VTR-70 is also available in the form of separate units or with additional options according to the user’s tasks.
